Aimeé Nesse, Founder of Bangarang Consulting

Aimeé Nesse's career started in Nashville, Tennessee, in nationally-syndicated radio at the age of 17 for the #1 rated morning show. After she nearly finished a degree in recording industry management from Middle Tennessee State University, Aimeé decided to change directions. Aimeé instead finished with dual specializations in Journalism and Public Relations and dual minors in Marketing and Visual Arts.

While in college, Aimeé was an editor with her school paper and wrote for various publications in Murfreesboro and Nashville, Tennessee. Aimeé then earned a communications internship at the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, which was the #1 chamber in the United States at that time that also included one of 7 Google-powered Entrepreneurship Centers in the United States.

Enter a soldier that swept her away from Nashville and to Fort Hood, Texas. Upon entering this small, but growing business community, Aimeé worked with the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce as a small business counselor for a few years. During her time at the chamber, she rebranded the Central Texas Business Resource Center and the Fort Hood Region Procurement Conference.

After hearing the needs of hundreds of business owners in Central Texas, Aimeé Nesse stepped out on her own and founded Bangarang Consulting. Bangarang does small business consulting, marketing, public relations, and social media management, and financial literacy for micro-enterprises. The needs of Killeen have developed a need for Indie Killeen - a small alliance called Indie Killeen. Indie Killeen hosts mixers, networking events, farmers markets, workshops, hosts a referral program, and hosts a co-op office space.

Aimeé has won numerous awards in business plan writing and creating marketing, turn-key implementation plans. Aimeé Nesse is passionate about small business. She is currently on the board of Killeen Volunteers Inc., founder of the Wineothropic Society of Central Texas, on the advisory board for Enactus at CTC, a host committee member of the KNCT Wine Classic, and a wine steward for Salado Wine Sellers.
